Hello Everyone! We would like you to meet our new Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at the Holland Center. Her name is Emily Morisset. Emily will be providing individual speech and language services to children and their families.
Emily is licensed through the MN Department of Health and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Hearing Association. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from St. Cloud State University as well as a minor in Music. Emily received her Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked with children treating a variety of speech and language needs since 2000.
Speech and Language Treatment may focus on a variety of skills, Including but not limited to:
- Articulation Skills
- Language Skills
- Conversational Skills
- Motor speech disorders
- Oral-motor issues
- Social and pragmatic issues
